RTC Associates, Inc. offers Service and Maintenance Agreements to maintain Comtrol I equipment.  This periodic service and maintenance results in an increase in the reliability of the Comtrol I system and reduces repair and compensatory measure costs.

RTC offers monthly, bimonthly and quarterly service contracts.  On an agreed upon schedule RTC personnel will arrive on-site and, using the RTCA-500 system analyzer, will evaluate overall system integrity while all multiplexers in the system remain online. 

Preventative maintenance on each concentrator is also performed during the on-site visit.  RTC personnel visually inspect each concentrator, measure for AC ripple of power supplies, check and adjust all variable frequencies and test the coaxial cable link for proper transmission.

RTC also provides 24 hour service that enables plant personnel to immediately report any Comtrol I hardware failures that impair the proper operation of the system.  RTC will contact the customer, usually within an hour, to evaluate and schedule a response as required.  Priority is always given to service contract holders when scheduling jobs.
