RTC engineers do everything possible so your new replacement card reader will install in your current enclosure and utilize your current wiring.  This means that there are no changes to your current wiring diagrams.  For many companies this is a substantial cost savings.  All card readers are microprocessor controlled allowing you the flexibility to design in almost any function you wish.  Need another relay?  How about communications over current loop, RS 485, RS 232 and Ethernet all at  the same time?

REPLACEMENT OF CASI-RUSCO READERS

The CRI-30 and GPI-30 series card readers were designed as direct replacements for the Rusco RS/30 reader. The CRI-30 and GPI-30 series card readers were designed as direct replacements for the Rusco RS/30 reader. The CRI-30 series is designed to mount in the existing enclosure. The reader contains a red, yellow and green high intensity LED and an audible horn for annunciation of denied access, busy and access granted. A local microprocessor board is installed to control the LEDs, verify card data and perform all data translation for transmission to the existing security system. The GPI-30 series card readers can be designed to meet requirements from a basic card reader to an access control system. The GPI-30 series can operate dual card readers with a simple firmware change and the installation of a second read head. This is done without the need to change the security system software.

REPLACEMENT OF PYROTRONICS / SENTRACON READERS

The GPI-PSR series card readers are direct replacements for Pyrotronics/Sentracon card readers. They were designed to fit into the original mounting enclosures and operate over the same field wiring without any software changes to the system. The GPI-PSR series card readers allow the customer to incorporate new technology (hand geometry etc.) and reliable hardware into their system without the cost of replacing the entire system.
