Access / Security Systems

RTC has developed a wide variety of  Security/Access Systems over the years.  Many of our systems are installed in Nuclear Power Plants throughout the U.S.  The quality of our Commercial / Light Industrial Systems is the same as the systems that are installed in the power plants. 

Our design philosophy is to provide a product that will require minimal maintenance and repair.  We do not believe in throw-away components.  By using the best technology available we eliminate many component malfunctions due to a short lifetime.  As an example, our magnetic stripe read heads are made from cast aluminum and are guaranteed for 1,000,000 + reads before failure with proper cleaning.   Should the read head fail it can be replaced for minimal cost.  Our systems are designed to require the minimal amount of downtime should a component fail.  Many of the components can be changed by an inexperienced user in a matter of minutes.

ISAAC

(Intelligent Stand Alone Access Control)

ISAAC is a low cost access control system that uses a variety of card technologies to control access to doors or buildings.  ISAAC can be installed as a standalone system, in a networked system, or where it is impossible or unfeasible to run network wiring. ISAAC can be configured to fit your exact needs.  If you don't see what you are looking for we will be happy to provide a solution that meets your specifications and needs.   The software is user friendly and allows you complete control to limit or allow access.  The software allows you to customize reports based on your application.  Our new software package allows you to monitor up to 4 network video cameras allowing you complete control of your building.  For commercial applications we allow a door to be unlocked for a period of time set by you.  This way your business front door can be unlocked during business hours.  This feature can be set up to open automatically or only if an employee is inside.
